    Was an absolutely amazing experience! Fran was our guide and he was a complete joy! Answered all of our questions and was all around super friendly! It wasn’t super hard to paddle out to the island, which was nice. 10/10 would recommend!

    Sail Kailua with local watermen on the wa’a (canoe) while learning about its history and cultural significance to Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures. You will be given the opportunity to explore the ecosystem as you discover the coral reefs of Kailua with honu and other native species of fish. Enjoy the views of the Ko’olau range surrounding us as your guides tell the mo’olelo (stories) of various Ahupua’a (land divisions) that make up Kailua and the Ka Iwi coastline.     5. Kailua: 2.5-Hour SUP Lesson

    Stand-up paddling combines the thrill of surfing with the techniques of paddling, which when combined create a match made in heaven. This activity offers a variety of conditions, from flat-water cruising and moderate chop to rolling waves.   Lessons generally stick to the calmest areas to practice basic strokes and techniques. Your lesson begins with paddling instructions and a brief introduction class at the beach center. From there you’ll head to the Kailua Beach Park, where your instructor will help you launch your board and eventually stand up. Your group will then head out towards Popo’ia, also known as “Flat Island”, where you will typically land to enjoy a break and island tour.

Excellent tour of many great sightseeing locations in Oahu. Mac was excellent including his knowledge of the locations and his sense of humor. I would definitely recommend!l especially if you love photography. I am looking forward to enlarging/framing a couple photos!

Our tour guide Mac was AWESOME! It was by far one of our best things we did in Oahu and we definitely had LOTS of laughs that day! Back to FL, but thanks for showing us the views of Hawaii.
