An unforgettable experience allowing to really feel this incredible region. Our xpert guide, Evan, was very interesting and passionately explained to us the different sites and stages of our hike. My 11 year old son and I loved this magical morning punctuated by a visit to the sublime Varlaam Monastery. An essential activity in the heart of the forest, beside the meteors to reach the summits!

Fantastic hike, guide and itinerary

Giannis (John) was a fantastic, calm and sweet guide who had interesting facts all along the hike and adapted his pace to ours. The sights are breathtaking, the 2 monasteries and hermitage spots were very cool, and some local berries and nuts from the trees on our way made this a very smooth and fun hike. We met in Kastraki square so there are no bus/wifi/water bottles provided, keep that in mind (hike starts there; there are water fountains so you can bring your own bottle) Cheers!
