Your day starts with convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation, before heading west towards the Great Dividing Range. Depending on your preferences, when passing through western Sydney you can take 1.5 hours at either Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to the largest collection of Australian native animals in the world, or Sydney Zoo, Sydney's newest animal sanctuary with both native and exotic animals. Both offer the chance to see all your favourite animals up close and interact directly with some truly iconic Aussie creatures, including koalas, kangaroos, and many more. Further west the journey follows the Great Western Highway, the same route taken by Aboriginals for thousands of years. Once in the mountains, enjoy some time for bushwalking, waterfalls, and lookouts. While hiking, keep an eye out for colourful birds, unique animal life, and dramatic canyons and cliffs. Your expert guide will point out interesting natural formations, and provide commentary throughout the day. You'll head to Echo Point, which provides the best view of the Three Sisters and the Jamison Valley to hear the Aboriginal story of creation. Optional free time for you to visit Scenic World for the Discovery pass taking in the three rides (at own expense) or you can go on another beautiful bushwalk. After this adventurous day, your driver/guide will safely deliver you back to your pickup address or drop you off on route if preferred.

What people are saying about Katoomba

Although I am much delayed in leaving this review, as I went on this tour last July, I had to take a moment to HIGHLY recommend this tour, or any with terry for that fact! In my trip to Sydney, this Blue Mountains tour was by far one of the BEST, if not the best experience I had while there. From the friendly, small group environment (which is a lovely way to make some new friends, and I found to be so fun!), to Terry's promptness (he showed up at my hotel right on time, with a smile, even AFTER I had booked the tour quite last minute!), to his thoughtfulness and knowledge (especially of Photography! This is a huge bonus, and I left with the most incredible photos from the day) as well as the incredible opportunity to learn so much from Terry about general information/Australia, truly made for a day I will likely not ever forget. No other tour I have been on anywhere in the world gave me the anything near the quality of this enriching, personalized experience I got with Terry

This was a wonderful experience. Truly breathtaking. Exceeding any expectation my wife and I had in advance of the day. The views of the Jameson valley, Lincoln Lookout, Wentworth, Leura Falls, Cahill lookout and the Three Sisters and finally Echo Point lookout are breathtaking. Terry and Steve keep up a wonderful and informative commentary of each location. The cliffs, valleys, Eucalyptus, waterfalls, rocks, the three sisters themselves, Boars Head and lastly the sunset are beautiful, and the quiet serenity has to be heard to be believed. Take a camera you won’t regret it

Had a great time on this trip, our guide Steve was very informative and friendly. Transportation was excellent, would thoroughly reccomend.

Terry and Chris were great and it was a very intimate and small personalized tour.
