Follow your guide for a journey on land, by water. Your day starts as your tour guide picks you up on Kauai's North or East Shore. The comfortable, air-conditioned touring van offers large viewing windows on all sides for you to admire the beaches, mountains, and waterfalls.

Arrive at the Wailua River and step aboard a spacious open-air riverboat for a leisurely journey to the Fern Grotto landing.

A short walk through the rainforest brings you to one of Kauai's geological wonders, where ferns grow upside down in a natural amphitheater of lava rock – the perfect location to be serenaded and entertained by Hawaiian musicians and hula dancers.

The trip was exactly what we had expected, perfect for my elderly mother. Our guide went above and beyond and entertaining us and staying with us while the road was shut down due to an accident. Trip was supposed to be over around 2 by the time the road opened and he got us back to Princeville it was 5. He still had a long drive home in heavy traffic from the earlier accident. He took everything in stride and with a smile on his face. Thanks Steve.

We were picked up at our hotel. Very nice boat ride to the Fern Grotto. You do walk to the grotto from the dock, but not a very strenuous of a walk. There were performers on the boat as well as at the grotto. Then we received a tour of the island, stopped for lunch and were returned to our hotels. This is a full day tour.

Domi our guide is very proud of his Hawaiian background and his home. He is very knowledgable about the island and its history. He took us to several places we had been to before and gave us a new perspective on it as well as a different angle and view for photographing and just sightseeing. The grotto was great as was the boat ride. This was just a fantastic trip.
