Meet the instructor who will set you up with the proper surfing equipment. Begin your lesson with a safety briefing and basic instruction before heading into the clear waters of Maui. Starting with a first few waves in waist-deep water our instructor will provide you with useful tips and information on how to stand up on the surfboard. Feeling confident and excited, it’s time to paddle along the coastline while enjoying the beautiful views of South Maui. At the end of the lesson return the equipment to the instructor and have a quick clean up. Finally, some refreshments will be available to finish off this memorable experience.

Make the most of your private guide, who will lead small groups along the idyllic coastline in Makena Bay for a 2-hour tour or lesson. Enjoy an unforgettable experience getting up close to nature in Maui’s warm, clear blue waters. Start with an early check-in where you will get all the paddling equipment you will need. Your guide will plan out the ideal route based on your interests. Let your guide know ahead of time if there is anything you want to see so the tour can be customized especially for you. Paddle along the coastline, where you will get great views of the bay. Make sure to look out for green sea turtles, manta rays, tropical reef fish and fantastic coral reef. If it’s the right season, be sure to look out for whales and dolphins, too.

Start out with a brief lesson on the shore before getting into the ocean with your paddleboard. Feel secure as your professional guide leads you every paddle of the way. Review your shore lesson out on the water and you'll be stand-up paddleboarding in no time. For small children, expert help is at hand. Kids will be able to sit on the front of the paddleboard with a guide. Children will be safe as they paddleboard along with the rest of the family.  Look back on the experience with a specialty photograph documenting your paddleboarding success available on social media. Round off the session with a fresh fruit picnic while checking out the stunning scenery of Haleakala Crater from the ocean.
