We really enjoyed getting to see and know more about the history. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about Pearl Harbor and Hawaii in general. He made the bus ride pleasant. The Missouri ship tour was my favorite! It was so cool to go through the ship and see all the different rooms. Also, having our lunch orders already called in and a reserved table for us at the restaurant for lunch was perfect, as it did get busy in there. The only thing I would warn you about, is that breakfast was not provided like stated in the description. We were given a piece of banana bread in the afternoon at the end of the trip. When it said breakfast and lunch included, I was expecting breakfast—at least continental. Even if the pastry had been given to us in the morning, I hardly call that breakfast. So be sure to actually eat breakfast before coming if you think you may get hungry before lunch time. Also it says no bags allowed but you can bring a clear bag.

  • Oahu: USS Arizona Memorial and City Highlights Tour

    4. Oahu: USS Arizona Memorial and City Highlights Tour

Meet your guide then travel to 1 of Oahu’s must-see locations, Pearl Harbor. Immerse yourself in history and learn about the events that took place here which propelled the United States into World War 2. Take a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and watch a fascinating documentary film about the event. There’s also time to explore the 2 onsite museums and shop for souvenirs at the gift shop. Afterwards, enjoy a panoramic tour of Honolulu and see some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Unfortunately, they have had problems with the pickups from the tour busses, which shaved off an hour of our time at the Pearl Harbour site. The driver, facility, and tour was awesome. But they need to find a better system to get people picked up and to the Memorial

It was an EXCELLENT experience touring with Keith Kampe. He’s a great tour guide with a lot of general knowledge on the history of the island and the sites. He loves to talk about the architecture, which I really enjoyed. I’m totally satisfied and would recommend it and do it again.

The driver had done his homework on the buildings and trees and plants and history and was able to provide a lot of information. Unfortunately we were not able to take the boat trip to the Arizona Memorial due to the damaged boat dock but that’s no fault of this tour.
