From Knysna: Sunset cruise with bubbly and dinner

1. From Knysna: Sunset cruise with bubbly and dinner

All our catamaran cruises depart from the Jetty at Sirocco restaurant on Thesen Island where you are welcomed by your captain and crew. We then venture out for a magical sail on the Knysna Lagoon, navigate the famous Knysna Heads and then head out to sea ( weather permitting) to explore the spectacular marine and bird life of the Indian Ocean. Being joined by pods of dolphins, or a friendly seal is a magnificent experience, you may even see a whale! Once we set sail there’s ample time for lazing in the sun, supping, swimming, and snorkeling depending on the duration of your cruise. Sit back while we treat you to a complimentary glass of ice-cold bubbles. You are also welcome to buy any additional drinks at our cash bar on board. On our return to the Knysna Lagoon, we will treat you to a traditional braai. Our Catamaran LaraBella is equipped with a wine cooler, a coffee machine, a bar, a big lounge saloon area, beautiful cabins, and several fridges.

2. Knysna: Downhill Forest Scootour Adventure

Experience the stunning, tropical beauty that is Garden Route National Park on a mountain scooter-bike. Used in the Alps during the summer season on the snowless ski slopes, the thick tires and solid design of your scooter-bike allows you to carve Garden Route’s trails with ease. Each scooter can fit one adult and a child passenger. After meeting your expert guides, you’ll board a scenic minibus ride to start your descent into the national park. After a safety briefing, you’ll head out onto the sweeping bends, criss-crossing down long hills within the lush forest. Keep on the lookout for local wildlife, like the majestic Knysna loerie, the shy bushbuck, and plentiful wild boar. After 2 hours going downhill on the trails, you’ll head back to the meeting point via minibus, never needing to worry about the uphill climb.

The estuary has a compelling history, fascinating birdlife and is inhabited by 43% of South Africa's plant and animal life. View the rugged and iconic Knysna Heads, a unique sandstone formation, and the magnificent ancient caves nestled amongst the coves of this beautiful coastline.
