What didn't work out so well was the communication with the pick-up. It was said that you get an email a day before, because of the exact pick-up time. That didn't work at all, I had to write to people to find out more. Then you still had a time window of 1 hour. A quarter of an hour before the end of the hour you got an email that you will be picked up in 10 minutes. Bus transfer does not cost 6 € per person, but 8 €..

The tour was very well organized overall. 4 buses of the organizer were on the boat. On the island these were divided up again. Vulkan gave the hour time to visit everything. The time was even a bit long for the beautiful village. We quickly separated from the group and looked for a nice tavern with good food. The return trip was spectacular with strong waves. But the crew had everything under control at all times.

We were greeted very rudely at the port as apparently we were the only ones who had booked this tour online (and not through the hotel?) and no one knew which group we belonged to. The guides were very suspicious that we had an online voucher and accordingly we were treated like lepers. We found it rather amusing but many people might find it disturbing and it was indeed very unprofessional behavior by the guides. The tour itself was interesting and beautiful, we broke up with the group quite quickly due to the above reasons. This was quite possible because the times when you had to be where were communicated well. Bus transfer and entry to the volcano cost extra.
