Although there is no availability of tours in Italian, the various companions know a minimum of Italian vocabulary, which was necessary to make my mother understand something, who unfortunately speaks neither English nor German. In any case, the availability, friendliness and kindness of the staff is immense! This excursion to the beach of Preveli initially includes a short stop in the pretty village of Spili, where you can enjoy a Greek coffee in the beautiful shaded square where there is the fountain of the Lions, then we will set sail by boat from the beautiful Damnoni bay and then reach the wonderful beach of Preveli. At the end we will return back to Damnoni to have an excellent homemade meal at the taverns located on the coast. This tour does not include crossing the river on foot towards the coast, as you are accompanied directly to the beach of Preveli by sea.

100% recommended experience when in Crete. We loved our guide, she made our day so pleasant. The bus drive is long but we didn't mind as we saw many beautiful places of Cretan nature and the kids took some great pictures of the Gorge. The palm forest by the beach is a unique place to see! Plus, this tour includes not only Preveli and Damnioni beach but we got to visit Rethymno town as well.
