We got picked up just after 10.30am at the Hotel. Approx 25 mins to Salt Mine, It was freezing! Minus 2 degrees. We had to wait about 20 mins for the English Guide. The tour itself lasts approx 2 hours and is very interesting! The Temperature is approx 12 degrees underground Well worth a visit!

The pick up location was easy to find and the transport was comfortable. The tour guide at the mine was knowledgeable and made the tour extremely interesting. There are about 800 steps down into the mine and over 2 miles of walking so make sure you have comfortable shoes on. The interior is breathtaking and full of history.

Our bus driver was late 20 minutes, which was not fun as we had to wait outside in the snow. The salt mine is very interesting, with plenty to see. Our tour guide (I don’t remember her name but she was a young blonde girl), she was excellent and provided lots of information about the salt mine, but she spoke way too fast that it was sometimes difficult to understand.
