You will be picked up from your hotel in central Kuala Lumpur and driven to Kuala Selangor, approximately 1.5 hours away. Kuala Selangor is a small village on the banks of the Selangor River. The village is well-known, as you can find millions of fireflies there.   Upon arrival you’ll visit Bukit Melawati, where Fort Altingsburg is located. A lighthouse strands on top of the hill, surrounded by tall trees. Look out for local birds, silvered leaf monkeys and long-tailed macaques. You’ll head to a nearby fishing village for a typical seafood dinner before making your way to Kampung Kuantan.   At around 6:30 PM you’ll board a boat and row along the river to see the fireflies. Millions of fireflies present you with a dazzling display of lights flickering in synchrony, that resemble twinkling electric lights on a Christmas tree. You will be dazzled at the sight. At 8:30 PM, you’ll depart from Kuala Selangor and drive back to Kuala Lumpur in the comfort of a private vehicle.

From start to finish everything went very well. Communication by email and WhatsApp was problem-free 👍, pick up from the hotel was great and on time, Batu Caves / Sri Shakti Temple / Kuala Selangor Nature Park with monkeys were very interesting. We had good weather and could see a lot of fireflies. We were sooo happy!!! The food was very tasty, the staff was very nice and helpful. Our guide Norman told us a lot of interesting things and was very professional. We really had a lovely, fun and informative time. Always my pleasure . And thanks a million to Norman!!!

Zach was a great guide. He knew all the places and people He is also a safe driver and takes realy care of his clients. The tour is fun. Ok, around the Batu Caves it looks horrible because of all the trash. The old Fort with the monkeys is cute, the food at the restaurant is tasty and the firefly park is awesome. Good value for money

Batu Caves were stunning. The Thai seafood dinner was okay, not amazing. The real pay off is seeing the fireflies at dusk. Magical, serene and special.
