Full description

Travel via high-speed catamaran from Lahaina Harbor to the Maui Channel to see the humpback whales, who return to Hawaii for a few months each year to mate and give birth. Get up close to these creatures in their native environment from comfortable table and chair seating.

Keep your eyes peeled for whales slapping the surface with their very long side fins, tails, or the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body. See them spy-hop, when humpback whales come high out of the water to have a look around at the world above.

See the majesty of a breaching whale, if you are lucky. This is when a whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again. Don’t forget to bring your camera and take memorable photos from the shade of a spacious cabin.

This crew is so much fun! They're made this trip so fun and the captain was HILARIOUS!!! We took our 7 year old son. He had an amazing time. He said, "Mama, this is the best day ever.." He absolutely loved being there and we would go with this crew again!

We had a blast, as a family of 21 guests, sailing on Quicksilver 03/04/23. Plenty of room and Lots of whale activity to see. We enjoyed the staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. The Captain was funny and seemingly knowledgeable about the whale behaviors and was very good to provide opportunities to be in areas where the whales were very active! Well worth the time and cost and fun for all ages, from 18 months to, well, much older than that! (59 ish)

Our captain was a wealth of new and fascinating information about whales, told in a very child- appropriate manner that did not take away. He was funny and in NO way sounded rehersed. It was like he were having a first time, unreleased conversation. The microphone in the water to hear the males sing was a magical surprise. The the early ride. Beautiful to see the sun working its way across the sky. I would do it again. 7:30 am, March 3rd voyage.
