This private tour is designed for those who wish to visit all the most iconic and photogenic sites you see on postcards and Instagram in the northern part of the islands. On top of snapping pictures, you'll learn about the Balinese culture and history behind those sites and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Your first stop early in the morning will be the iconic Lake Beratan. Like Bali's postcards, you will see the majestic temple sitting on a small lake island.  This lakeside temple was constructed in honor of Dewi Danu, goddess of the lake, which was formed by a volcanic eruption 30,000 years ago. Your guide will explain this ancient temple's history, the Balinese people, and culture. You will then visit the iconic Handara Gate, well known as the pathway to serenity. Take a wonderful picture in front of Handara Gate with the breathtaking view of green scenery and the gigantic-exotic traditional Balinese gate as your backdrop. Prepare your walking shoes because you will visit the majestic and beautiful Banyumala Twin Waterfall next. The natural pool is inviting with its translucent turquoise waters. Swim in tranquility, listen to the thunderous roar of cascading waters, and take in the sights of the vibrant greenery.  Then visit the iconic Wanagiri Hidden Hills, punctuated by a series of whimsical vantage points over Lake Tambingan and Lake Buyan. You will fly over the hill and lakes and experience incredible views on a jungle swing. Do not miss the bird cage and a viewing post shaped like a boat. The trip started with a "coffee plantation". After different plants and a luwak were shown, there was a range of experiments on different types of coffee with different flavors. A Kopi Luwak was offered for 50k IDR. Then you could buy everything you tried. Not intrusive per se. I had expected significantly more coffee plants when I was named a coffee plantation. He drove by there to support the local traders... Well. Then, at my request, I went to the Ghost Palace, an abandoned hotel in Bedugul. Nothing has been done here since 2020. The garden is overgrown and the building is standing. I don't see something like that every day! Next we went Banyumala, Handara Gate, Pura Ulun Danu and Jatiluwi. Everything is fantastic, I don't need to describe it I think. The guide Nyoman is happy to show and explain his world to you. He was always well prepared and knew what to do. I really enjoyed the day. Many Thanks

Our guide Gede Susila was excellent! his driving was very safe and comfortable and he was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and all local customs. Gede provided great detail on the Hindu religion while at Lake Bratan and went above and beyond in ensuring my wife and I were comfortable. Gede also took lots of great photos for us! I definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Bali's culture and I also strongly recommend Gede as a guide.

Tirta, our guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable on not just our tour, but spoke of the history of Bali. After Tirta’s information about Bali, we have now booked other excursion and visited old Denpasar Town. He was great, and is an asset to Bali’s tourism industry.

Again Oka was our guide! He was so nice and let us go to pharmacy and money changer too. His English was very well and I enjoyed conversation. I want him to guide us again if I come to Bali in the future!

Excellent first day. Guide is so friendly and caring
