Sample a sciat and then the delicious Nuvola cake, translating literally to "cloud." While the shape resembles that of a large plumcake, the texture is something halfway between panettone and pandoro, but much softer — precisely like a cloud — and it is filled with apricot jam. What people are saying about Lake Como

We booked pretty late and spontaneous which is why we had a pretty private tour with Pier. He was incredible as a guide and for anyone who is interested to get to know the local cuisine, regional differences for cuisine in Italy or simply some funny discussions about the latest food trends - he is the guy. The food and wine we received was delicious and after spending a couple of days in Como exploring a lot of restaurants, bars and cafés- we are convinced that the selected places represent some of the best and most traditional places in Como. Last but not least having an owner of a shop as the guide gave us the feeling that we became local for a short while as well - receiving the warmth and hospitality of the owners of the restaurant, the staff and just local neighbors greeting us friendly. We really enjoyed the tour and can highly recommend it for anyone interested to get to know both the cuisine as well as the city history.

Stefania and Vincenzo were wonderful hosts! They warmly welcomed us into their house and spoke highly of their city. We enjoyed learning how to cook from scratch using unique Italian ingredients. And it was delicious! Thank you for a unforgettable evening.

beautiful day, among the hills and villages adjacent to the lake, Daniele was super professional and super kind, nice even the picnic with cheeses and typical salami, highly recommended
