Full description

Explore the Grand Canyon from above and below on a guided helicopter and bus tour departing from Las Vegas. Entry tickets, lunch and snacks, and hotel pickup and drop-off are all included.

Start with your pickup in Las Vegas and enjoy your breakfast snack as you watch the Mojave Desert landscape pass you by. Arrive at the Grand Canyon West Rim, and next it’s time to climb aboard your helicopter.

Fly into the canyon and enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful, colorful rock formations. Land at the bottom of the valley and take in the scenery all around before flying back to the Welcome Center.

Enjoy lunch before catching the hop-on, hop-off shuttle bus to Eagle Point, where you can brave the Skywalk (if the option is selected). Continue onto Guano Point for more dramatic views, and explore Hualapai Village.

Board the bus for a relaxing drive back to Las Vegas, passing the famous Hoover Dam on the way. Get dropped off at your original pickup point, where your tour will come to an end.

The trip was comfortable. The guide was knowledgeable and courteous. While we spent more time than needed at some of the sites - like "Last Stop" - I would have enjoyed a stop on the way back at the historic 'Boulder City'. The helicopter tour could have been longer by ten minutes helping see both sides of the canyon closer. The boat ride was very good.

In the morning, I called without knowing the meeting place. He did not speak English at all, but he taught me how to get together. Also, the guide was good. However, there was a tour of about 50 people per guide, and there were many types of option patterns, so the waiting time and adjustment time were long. Furthermore, if you are not good at English, which team should you follow? ? It was like a confusing tour, not just language skills. That's one deduction.

No question, a MUST DO for your Vegas trip. The sights and experience from the helicopter are unforgettable. From the moment we were picked up to the end of the day, Mitch & Robbie were excellent hosts who had the whole bus laughing and intrigued by the weird and wonderful facts of Las Vegas. We upgraded on the bus to include the boat tour which means you actually land at the bottom of the canyon. So for an extra $30 each, this was much better value than the Sky Walk. You will get just as good photos standing next to the Sky Walk so not worth it in my opinion. Hoover Dam was good to see too, but a bit dark for photos towards the end of the day. +ve’s - friendly informative tour service, good lunch/snacks provided, comfortable transportation, amazing views/photos to take home -ve’s - if you sit on the right hand side of the bus, you’ll get better photos passing Hoover Dam... we were sat on the left. Also you don’t get to walk across the dam which would have been a bonus.
