- Skip the line
- Duration: 4 hours
Get away from the bright lights of Las Vegas, and journey into the great American Southwest. First, stop at Antelope Canyon and enjoy its colorful, intricate rock walls and formations, rainbow colors, and patterns. You'll explore the canyon with an experienced Navajo guide. Next, take in spectacular views at the Horseshoe Bend, a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River. After hiking 1.2 km on a sandy trail, take your time to admire the breathtaking views. Finally, stop at the world-famous Grand Canyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. On the way back to Las Vegas, take a short break in Seligman, a small town along Route 66.
It was a good trip however I was a little disappointed in Horseshoe Bend. It is a long day so be prepared. I think the driving could have been less erratic and not so fast.
Meet your pilot and crew approximately 90 minutes prior to sunrise. It's an early start, but seeing the sunrise and scenery from a hot air balloon is an experience like none other. From the local partner's check-in office, you'll transfer to the launch field in Pahrump, an hour west of the Las Vegas Strip. Upon take-off, there is no sensation of movement, rather one of the ground dropping away. During the flight, which lasts 45-60 minutes, you will have spectacular birds-eye views of the Spring and Nopah Mountain Ranges, breathtaking views of Death Valley, and far-reaching views into Eastern California. As you drift silently and peacefully over the countryside, watch for desert wildlife, take that all-important selfie, and talk with envious onlookers down below. Upon landing, participate in a traditional champagne toast, hear the story of how hot air ballooning began, and how it led to...
Begin your day bright and early departing from the Las Vegas Strip for a full day adventure at Zion National Park. Board the luxury coach and ride hassle-free to one of the most beautiful and famous National Parks. On your journey to your destination, sit back and relax as you take in the desert landscapes as they pass by. Soon you will come face to face with Zion National Park's majestic red rock canyons, soaring sandstone cliffs, and slot canyons. At the park, you'll have approximately 6 hours of free time to explore the park's valley at your own pace (during winter, you can travel around in the tour's vehicle and make several stops in the valley). Make sure to keep your camera nearby as you enjoy a day of breathtaking views, powerful scenery, and natural beauty. Within the park's valley, you can select a few of the popular self-guided scenic walks including Emerald Pools, the River...
