Brilliant cruise! Next time, we will book the longer cruise. The cruise allowed us to enjoy the natural wonders of Launceston. This experience sparked our desire to see more of the surrounding gorge and mountains. The walk around the gorge is a ‘must do’.

Wonderful cruise with excellent commentary on the history of the Tamar River and Cataract Gorge. The Lady Launceston is a beautiful boat with comfortable seating and great views of all the river attractions. I recommend this cruise for newcomers to Launceston who love boats and history. The Cataract Gorge itself is very beautiful with large dolomite rock formations, water falls and a historic bridge with an interesting history. Thank you Tamar River Cruises for a fantastic adventure. I’ll definitely be back!

Great experience! Our guide knew so many facts about the past and present that even my nanna didn’t know and she’s local, we were taken down all three rivers and told the history, I had a 2 and 4 year old in tow who also loved the boats and animals we passed while we got to listen to the history loved it
