First of all we had a walking tour of about one hour through the center of Leipzig which already was intense in terms of the explanations given by the guide as Leipzig has a huge history not only of its own but also by the many famous poets, musicians and other famous people that lived, studied or worked in the town. After our walk the two groups which were formed at the beginning meat again to take the bus tour to see the wider area of the center of Leipzig. Our guide here was as instructive and knowledgeable as the first one, and in the 1.5 hours of bus tour she spoke without interruption telling us about the buildings and people that lived and formed the town. It would have been nice to have maybe stopped here and there to take some pictures, but in the short time we had this was not possible. Anyway this combo tour is definitely worth its money and gives you and excellent impression of town and people for you to explore later by foot.
Very well organized city tour, the moderator was very accomplished. Unfortunately, booking online does not reflect real availability. Originally it was supposed to be a different provider, but Get your Guide had no places available. In fact, they would have been there. So you can confidently pay for the bus and directly on site.
Everything was great, despite the car-free Sunday in the city center, we saw a lot of Leipzig. - not enough legroom between the seats, felt trapped
I was with my granddaughter, 9 years. She liked it very much too. It was very interesting.
Very nice trip ... everything was well explained well .. thanks to Mike ..
