1.5-Hour Historical Tour of Leipzig with Costumed Guide

1. 1.5-Hour Historical Tour of Leipzig with Costumed Guide

No matter whether you immerse yourself in the nocturnal Leipzig of the cordial executioner's wife Helma, the patented cleaner Pauline or the affable Leipzig Lola, the "poor sinner's sip" on the way will do you good to easily digest the naked facts of the past and present. As a singer in the Leipzig of the golden 20s, Lola knows a lot about the "big business in the evening" - after all, Leipzig had 46 brothels and 220 relevant massage salons at that time. But Pauline is also aware of the wishes of merchants and trade fair guests for a successful trading day. She watches the small sins in the city (also fashion sins of celebrities) very closely and catches many a gossip under her mighty hat. In the days of Helma, the executioner's wife, Leipzig was a stronghold of drunkenness, gluttony and above all fornication at night. She was very close to the action and today she openly talks about the unbelievable.

What people are saying about Leipzig

We had a perfect day with our guide Pedro! Pedro picked us up at the train station in Leipzig on time and was able to entertain us throughout the tour with his knowledge of the region (Pedro comes from the Ore Mountains!). The highlights of the tour were lunch with a view of the entire Ore Mountains and a visit to the mine in Annaberg-Buchholz. We would book a tour with Pedro again at any time and can recommend it to everyone!

I was on the tour with a friend from Leipzig and she also took a lot of new things with her. The food stops were very well selected, there was something for everyone. What we were offered for the price was sensational. The guide had a refreshing narrative style and enriched the 3.5 hours with the flow of dialect stories of a Leipzig poet / writer (unfortunately I forgot my name) - gladly again.

Very entertaining and interesting. Definitely worth the money. Successful selection of meals. Guide Susanne was very competent and amusing with very nice dialect contributions. Fortunately, we took another review to heart beforehand, not to have too extensive breakfast beforehand. Gladly again, we will recommend the tour.

We walked around Leipzig learning about the story of the food and the places we were walking by. I loved the stories the guide told us and the food we had. Also ITs an amazing price for what you get :)

An incredibly great experience! The technology was amazing and the support from the guide was great. We will come back in any case.
