Full description

Receive a comprehensive overview of the Lofoten Islands in just one day as you relax on a slow-paced private tour from Leknes. Come across picturesque fishing villages, quiet bays, and towering cliffs. Admire the majestic natural landscape of the area, seemingly taken right out of a postcard.

Start out with a visit to Vik and Haukland beaches, with white sand and Caribbean-like green waters. Stop by the little charming village of Vikten and see the first glass factory in northern Norway. Head over to Flakstadpollen fjord to admire the difference in tides, leaving part of the fjord free of water.

Get a glimpse of Flakstad Church, the oldest in the archipelago, then pass by Ramberg Beach to reach the beautiful Reinefjord, where you can take in views of Hamnoy and Reine. Marvel at sharp mountaintops, winding fjords, and quaint red cabins.

Take a break to have a drink and taste some local snacks. You can also request to stop and purchase lunch. Drive further south to discover the fishing village of Å, the last letter of the Norwegian alphabet and also the last village of the archipelago.

Learn the history of stockfish production in the area, known as the "gold of Lofoten". If you wish to find out more, choose to explore the open-air museum, which includes a boathouse, a traditional cabin, and the village's cod liver oil factory. Finally, enjoy a relaxing ride back to Leknes.

What an amazing tour! Andrea was a great guide! He was very nice and had lots of information about the islands. The route he prepared was very beautiful and the snacks were a really nice touch. His spanish was very good too. I highly recommend this tour.
