What people are saying about Limón Province

The place is beautiful and everything is very well organized. The schedule is a bit different then indicated and we visited the town where the basically just bring you to town, a early morning boat ride in the national park and a guided hike which just follows a path behind the hotel. Then there is an optional hike where they charge you again 30$ and you walk to a nice hill where you get a great view. And the last afternoon is free so you can do what you want. For what you pay and what you get it‘s not really worth it since the only nice tour was the boat ride in the morning. The big advantage is that everything is very well organized to get there and back. Also I booked the tour as a solo traveler and ended up with only couples on their honeymoon ;)

The trip was very well planned. Our guide Berny created a good atmosphere, provided interesting information about the country and its people and thanks to him we were able to admire many great animals and take great pictures. The selected restaurants (breakfast and lunch) offered local food and tasted excellent. Thank you for the wonderful day. Definitely a highlight of my Costa Rica trip.

The guide, Álvar, very attentive, entertained the trip with explanations and stops. The experience was great and the day was well spent. Perhaps half an hour more in Tortuguero to visit with more pause. I recommend it.

The guide Marceille Valentine was extremely professional and friendly, knowledgeable and real lover of nature. It was one of the best guides we have ever met.

Great trip with our guide Giovanni! Saw lots of animals, had a great breakfast and lunch and learned a lot on the way. Would definitely recommend!
