Experience a mix of historical, cultural, and scenic sights in Portugal on this full-day tour. Discover the history and heritage of Fatima, Óbidos, Batalha, and Nazaré, as you make your way through many of central Portugal's highlights.

Start your tour with pickup from your hotel in the Lisbon city center and enjoy a scenic drive to the Shrine of Fatima, a major Catholic pilgrimage site. Learn about the miracle of the Virgin Mary's apparition to 3 shepherd children here in 1917. Next, visit the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Gothic monument, built by King John I of Portugal. After a lunch of regional foods, visit the seaside resort of Nazaré, a popular destination for surfers and water sports enthusiasts.

From the top of the rock, see the black Madonna statue by Saint Joseph and the colorful fishing boats. Finally, explore the medieval village of Óbidos, known for its cobbled paths, medieval houses, handicraft stores, and Ginjinha sweet cherry liqueur.

I have to say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, Luis went above and beyond to ensure that our tour was both fun and informative, and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. Luis was able to provide us with a wealth of information about each location, from the fascinating history of the Fátima Sanctuary to the stunning architecture of the Batalha Monastery. I learned so much on this tour, and I truly feel that Luis played a big role in making that possible. In addition to his knowledge, Luis also had an infectious enthusiasm and energy that made the tour so much fun. He was always eager to answer our questions and share his own experiences, and he kept us entertained and engaged throughout the entire day. I especially appreciated his sense of humor and his willingness to go out of his way to make sure that everyone in our group was having a great time. Overall, I would highly recommend Luis as a guide for anyone looking to explore this region!

For those who have little time and want to know each place briefly, the tour is fantastic. I enjoyed Fatima better than the other destinations, but I still thought it was worth it. Guide Nuno was very punctual on the tour and gave us explanations inside the van - we were on our own at the site. My only however was the miscommunication in the tour confirmation and on the day itself, but it did not detract from the good impression of the tour.

Our guide was Nuno and he did an excellent job translating all the explanations into English, Spanish and Portuguese. We got to know incredible spaces and we went at a good pace. Nuno knows various aspects of Portuguese culture and history. Also, he got us a last-minute reservation at a restaurant with fado, excellent service! Friendly and very sociable, all the way we talked and exchanged knowledge.
