Next, visit the beautiful seaside resort of Nazaré, popular with surfers and water sports fans. This trip was a great value. However, if you expect to see the big waves of Nazaré or the newly open lighthouse, you will be disappointed. The tour guide will drive you up to Siitio for the panoramic view, which close to the lighthouse where the waves are typically observed but he/she won't allow you to walk down to the lighthouse due to time constraints. Most of the time in Nazaré is dedicated to the south beach area and restaurants.

Very good value for the money. Louis was an amazing guide, with full of knowledge and great attitude. It was really good that we went to trip in a minivan (8 people+guide) and had lunch together in some typical portugese restaurant, where we could try their food for reasonable price. Truly recommend it.

The trip itself was a most enjoyable experience! We definitely got full value for our money. One thing that needs to be improved is the ability to identify the guide at the meeting point. We arrived at the meeting point 10 minutes before the meeting time and looked for a bus or minibus. We stood at the meeting point and no one contacted us. I then got a phone call from a local number, answered and did not hear anyone on the other end. After I got back to that number it turned out it was the guide and she had already traveled with the rest of the group. Turns out she was in a black minivan with no sign that the vehicle belonged to the tourism company. We had no way of knowing it was our vehicle. Eventually the instructor came back to pick us up, but it was an unpleasant experience, which could have been easily avoided if there had been some sign on the vehicle, or the instructor would have worn a shirt with the company name, or held a sign in hand like instructors at other companies do.
