Comprehensive trip visiting Megaliths, Evora and cork factory. An area of Portugal worth exploring. The small group tour is the best way to go. More value and intimate. Our guide Phillip was excellent! Fun and educational day. So glad I booked this one.

Good communication even before the tour. Nuno picked everyone up on time, and gave us an itinerary. We could stop if needed, which was nice to know. As we drove, we talked about the geography and history of the area. Loved the megalith visit. Évora is a charming old walled city, and we had a couple of very good lunch options. The chapel of bones was fascinating, as was the cathedral.

This was by far my favorite tour. Maybe because we were the only 2 on the trip and it felt like a private tour. Diego and Paulo were so attentive and shared great information. You can see they love their country and want to show it off. As for the sites- megaliths were so unique. I’m really glad we saw these. Compared to Stonehenge, we enjoyed these more. Chapel of Bones- you can say anything more. It speaks for itself. Great lunch in Evora. We went to Pickwick and met the owner. It was my Mom’s birthday and he gave her a bottle of wine! Speaking of gifts- Paulo and Diego gave my mom a birthday gift also. A ceramic bird to hang on her wall. Super nice guys. Roman temple was cool to see. Like being in Rome or Greece in Portugal. They showed us amazing views of the city and countryside. Loved the cork trees and finding out about that industry.
