This is such a great way to see the Hills area. We booked online the night before and then hopped on the tram at central square. Facing the river the stop off is at the back of the square behind you. You just need to show the barcode you get when booking as you enter the tram. Much less crowded than the yellow tram experience and pretty much the same route. If we’d had more time we would have done the Belem (blue) and river (yellow) tours too. Audio guide was good too

The tram ride itself was excellent, but the organization was terrible. We ordered our tickets just two days in advance (not two months in advance). Our confirmation email said the starting point was in Martim Moniz square, about a 20 minute walk from our hotel. The starting point was actually in Commerce square, about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. I advise you to call and talk to a real person before you believe what your confirmation email says.

This is an amazing tram ride and a great way to see the city. The audio guide is interesting and the tram is a great experience. Please note that you do not need a physical ticket and the meeting point on the voucher is wrong. You need to go to the Hills Tram stop at Praça do Comércio and they will scan your QR code. I had an annoying experience being unable to find the meeting point and Get your Guide couldn’t help me. A local man kindly helped.
