Hop aboard the open-top bus tour of Liverpool and The Beatles. You will hear about the social history of the city and where the Beatles were born and raised, stayed, and played. See all the city’s historic sights, including the Unesco World Heritage waterfront and the 2 magnificent Cathedrals, before being whisked off to the leafy suburbs of south Liverpool, home of the Fab Four. You will make 2 stops. The first at Penny Lane and the second at Strawberry Field, where you can leave the bus for a priceless photo opportunity. Then you'll go to the childhood homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, before traveling back towards the city where you will hear all about the great River Mersey. Once you have completed the City and Beatles tour, use your ticket to join the hop-on hop-off city tour. We had the best introduction to Liverpool and its people by taking this tour. "Toxeth Tom" was the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. I was not a particular Beatles fan but after this tour I became a BAB- Born Again Beatle fan. I would highly recommend this trip especially if you get Tom and Ann the driver

Booked the tour on a quite rainy day to start, but the weather let up a few minutes after the tour started. From start to finish, the people behind the tour were quite accommodating and helpful. (We arrived earlier than our designated time slot, so they gave us some helpful information regarding what bus to look out for and little whatnots). The tour takes you partially around the city and within the area of where some of the Beatles and their important life events happened. It was quite informative and we had so much fun with our tour guide, Chris! He encouraged the group to ask questions, and even provided us with some music to play en route to Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane. An added bonus was him serenading us with a tiny banjo as the tour was approaching its end! Highly recommended! Would like to come back some time and bring our parents for an experience!

The fantastic knowledge and stories of it's history brought the city to life. Even as life long beatles fans we were still finding out new information about their early lives. It was a wet miserable morning but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of the experience. That was due to Chris' 100% commitment to creating a fun experience.
