Excellent day trip from lodge pick up and transfer to the Zambia/Botswana border where our excellent guide for the day (Phil) met us and guided us through immigration. Great morning game drive, followed by an excellent 3 course lunch and then a boat / river trip in the afternoon. Saw all of the big 5 except for the elusive leopard!

Lovely journey to Botswana through Zambia and Botswana to Chobe. The park was lovely and very green this time of year. We saw a great variety of birds and animals especially very close to a mother and baby elephant. Also two Male lions. The cruise on the Chobe river we saw hippos crocodiles buffalo and birds as well as various antelope. Unfortunately being the rainy season it rained and reduced our views. Guides were excellent and it was a very enjoyable day .

We have the most fantastic day with Maano Adventures. We picked up promptly from our lodge at 7am before being driven to the Botswana border. Our Zambian driver Kendrick drove very safely and carefully, and was very interesting to chat to. He walked us through the immigration process and helped us on the boat over the lake where our guide for Chobe was waiting. We had an excellent day with Cape Fig Safaris, the Botswana company operating the tour with Maano. He was highly interesting, patient and really wanted to make our day excellent. Lunch was great (soft drinks included) at a beautiful lodge with a stunning views. The boat trip was excellent too, with another guide. Everything went really smoothly, we felt 100% safe and the communication before, during and after the trip was fab. Thanks so much!
