The first region to be created into a national park by Botswana was Chobe as it is the most biologically diverse with a huge concentration of game. As you’ll be among the first to arrive into the park on this early morning trip, you’ll have the best chance of seeing a large range of wildlife. The park is commonly known for its remarkable elephant population. Follow big cats across the wilderness, edge up to herds of elephants, buffalo and giraffes, and cruise down the Chobe River for water-based wildlife encounters. The day trip to Chobe takes you deep into Botswana’s big game country, a vast and diverse terrain that supports a huge assortment of creatures. Get ready for an adventure that excels in location and excites with its animal experiences. Your expert guide will take you to the places where big game and other wildlife sightings are guaranteed. Among the animals that you might see in Chobe National Park are elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, sable, and hundreds of bird species. You will be picked up from your hotel at 5:00 AM. The drive from Victoria Falls to the park takes just over an hour, and the day trip includes pickup and drop-off from your hotel in Zimbabwe. Getting into the park early increases your chances of seeing lions and other wildlife that are less active in the heat of the day. The game drive into Chobe National Park will start soon after the gates open. Your driver will be a professional guide with extensive knowledge of the park and its inhabitants. The park is especially known for its massive elephant population, huge array of bird species, and big cats such as lion and leopard. You will discover some of the park’s distinct ecosystems with dense woodland, extensive savannahs, and rolling grasslands while traveling along the Caprivi floodplains. After your game drive, you’ll be treated to lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge, before a 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River. You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 AM and make your way to the Zambezi National Park where your game drive will take place in an open four-wheel drive vehicle. Your qualified guide will drive you through the unique Zimbabwean bush, covering a genuinely wild, unfenced wilderness area. At 4:30 PM you'll be picked up again for the sunset cruise down the majestic Zambezi River. This is a fantastic time to be on the river to observe wildlife as they come down to the river for their last drink. You will slowly make your way along the Zambezi River and witness one of the most beautiful sunsets on the African continent. You can experience nature’s beauty and splendor while enjoying a refreshing drink from the cash bar. Return to your hotel at approximately 7:30 PM after what will undoubtedly be a fantastic day.

Day 1: Day of travelling from Livingstone to Lochinvar National Park 07:00 am: You will be picked from the reception of your Lodge/Hotel in Livingstone in a comfortable and air-conditioned transfer vehicle by our driver and tour guide. Thereafter, you will leave for Kalomo travelling by road up north on T-1 the main tourist road of Zambia (Livingstone – Lusaka T-1 road). It is a good tarmac road and you will cover a distance of about 128 kms before reaching Kalomo. 10:00 am: Arrive in Kalomo town, the first colonial capital city of the then Northern Rhodesia, current Zambia. You will visit and tour the first state house of Zambia and the site of the first standard chartered bank. You will take breakfast here at any good Restaurant within Kalomo. 13:20 pm: Arrive in Choma: Visit and tour Choma museum and craft centre around lunch time. Take your delicious lunch at any good restaurant within Choma. 16:30 pm: You will arrive in Monze, and take light snacks. Thereafter, you will leave Monze town and pass through the Samu Lya Moomba national heritage site outside Monze town just along the road to Lochinvar National Park. 18:30 pm: Arrive at Lochinvar National Park. Spend the first night at the camp site and eat dinner. 20:00 pm: Enjoy yourself around a born fire and listen to some old African tales from a wise men of Lochinvar Village 21:30 pm Retire to bed to sleep. Day 2: Activities in Lochinvar National Park, bird-watching paradise of Zambia 07:00 am: Wake up, bath and then take breakfast 07:30 am: Go to the Park: You will be driven and enter the Lochinvar National Park through the main park gate: Our experienced Tour Guide will take you inside the Park to areas of huge bird concentration of bird species. Narration: Game viewing: The wildlife population in Lochinvar National is small due to induced human activities. However, you will not miss seeing the Kafue Lechwe, a rare lechwe subspecies. -Start by passing through Gwisho Hotsprings, -Then drive to Baobab tree and drums. Then drive to the nice Chunga Lagoon. Commence the exciting birdwatching and wilding activities on foot as guided by the tour guide. Lunch will be provided in-between activities. 16:30 pm: Start returning back to exit the Lochinvar Park through the main gate. 18:30 pm: Have a delicious diner 20:30 pm: Entertainment of cultural traditional dances by the locals. 21:30 pm: Retire to bed. Day 3: Transferred back to your Lodge/Hotel in Livingstone 07:30 am: Wake up, take bath and eat your breakfast 08:30 am: Depart for Livingstone. 09:30 am: Pass through Family Safari Lodge to see some resident wild animals 12:00 pm: Choma and take your lunch.
