This was an excellent trip but there was a few hiccups at the start. We were late being picked up and then there was an issue at the border when passing us onto the transfer at the Botswana side. The guide at chobe also didn’t know we were supposed to be on a cruise after the game drive either. Although he did sort this for us. People make mistakes though and we weren’t going to let it ruin our holiday. The border is around 45/60 mins form vic falls and is open between 06:00-20:00. The trip itself is amazing. The game drive with Brave was excellent and he was very informative. Sitting in the 4x4 surrounded by hundreds of passing elephants is something you will never forget. Brave was also able to spot not one but two different leopards at two different times during the drive. One was up a tree and we were able to get some brilliant photos. We also saw lions charging elephants and all the other animals. The cruise was also good seeing elephants make the river crossing

Nothing goes perfectly planned but the guides (Simon and fortune and boat crew) worked hard to meet the program and tackle unannounced changes created my the management and other not so easy going tourists. Overall, they make up for today’s scarcity of big animals. Suggestions: made 1 option to pay for entry fees in advance.. Also, I noticed that with the heat and humidity kids and some adults can get tired. Perhaps, under the instructions remind customers to pack light snacks and small energy drinks for eventualities.

Booked the sunrise to sunset tour to chobe national park so that I could get in early before the crowd. Got to see zebras on the way. There is no lion in Chobe National park. If you must see, don't choose here. Got to see giraffes, elephants, hippos, impalas and gibbons everywhere! The sunset setting on the river was amazing.

It was a trip by myself, but the staff also kindly talked to me and made me relax. It is cold when the sun goes down, so you need a jacket.

All activities were done on time according to the program. The guides are professional (Simon especially)
