It was a lovely day weatherise so that made it particularly good, the boat was clean and comfy, not too crowded, the information given I found interesting and loved the music very peaceful! We did arrive early and was thankful as parking I could see was a bit tricky but parking attendant was very helpful and positive.

The boat ride was nice - lovely views. When we arrived by the dock, we were directed to get in line since we had prepurchased our tickets. However, when we went to board the boat, we were told that our QR codes were insufficient and we needed to go get physical tickets. This, of course, caused us to lose our place in line and we were among the last to board, so finding seating for five people together was near impossible.

A great day out on Lochness , from the warm welcome when you arrive in the car park to the departure from the gift shop. Such wonderful scenery as you sail down the loch with the tree lined hills to oneside and the steep cliffs overlooking you on the other it’s s magical place. Listening to the commentary as we went along about the history of the Castle and of course the legendary monster lurking somewhere deep beneath the murky and dark cold waters beneath gives you that added excitement and interpretation as you go along. I’d recommend the longer 2 hour trip to get the full experience and a visit to the castle is well worth it too.
