From start to finish was a great trip and for a very reasonable price for what you get to See. Parking was easy (do get there early to make sure you have a space & not rushed) a simple walk under a bridge through a very short tunnel and arrive at boat meeting point. (So simple) The Journey was fantastic, a beautiful day with amazing scenery. The information given during the boat trip was very interesting, historical facts about the area and of course great info on the famous Nessy. Sadly we didn’t get to see Nessy but possibly next time! Great view of Urqhart Castle - we pulled in to pick up some more passengers from the castle So got a great view of the other side of the castle too! Our female captain was very informative too about her experience of Nessy and made a real fuss of our 2 year old Labrador. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommended this trip we are so glad we did as was a wonderful experience.

Booking through GetYourGuide was easy and they provided all the information we needed for the trip. It was very nice to get out of the car and onto the loch and experience the scenery from a different perspective. From the car park of the Clansman hotel there is a short walk across to where the boat is moored up. The staff on shore and aboard were friendly and efficient. The boat itself was spacious and spotlessly clean with ample space to sit either inside or up on the top deck.

A great day out on Lochness , from the warm welcome when you arrive in the car park to the departure from the gift shop. Such wonderful scenery as you sail down the loch with the tree lined hills to oneside and the steep cliffs overlooking you on the other it’s s magical place. Listening to the commentary as we went along about the history of the Castle and of course the legendary monster lurking somewhere deep beneath the murky and dark cold waters beneath gives you that added excitement and interpretation as you go along. I’d recommend the longer 2 hour trip to get the full experience and a visit to the castle is well worth it too.
