After pickup at your hotel in Melbourne, depart early in the morning directly toward Torquay. Savor morning tea, then see some of the local surfers in action. Stock up on some chocolates for the day at the local Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery before continuing your journey through small local villages on the way to Split Point Lighthouse. Next, learn some of the history of the Great Ocean Road at the Memorial Arch before taking the steps down to the base of the Erskine Falls. Admire the magnificent falls, then grab lunch and take a stroll at Lorne. Enjoy some time for a quick swim off Lorne Beach, though be aware the water might be slightly cold. From Lorne, move on for another stroll to the Sheoak Falls. Soak up the spectacular views as you wind your way along the Great Ocean Road and stop to see some of the amazing wildlife. Then it’s time to enjoy the wonderful view from the Mariner's Lookout over the quiet village of Apollo Bay, your home for the night. Visit a lovely restaurant or cook for yourself in the hostel's large kitchen. Get another early start on Day 2 and walk through the temperate rainforest in the section of the Great Ocean Road known as the Green Coast. Continue your journey along the Green Coast, stopping at lookouts on the way, until you reach the highest point along the road, Lavers Hill. Tuck into your morning tea at Lavers Hill then visit the Shipwreck Coast to view all 9 lookouts along this section of the road, including the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and London Bridge. After exploring all these stops, head inland and travel back to Melbourne.

DAY 1: Melbourne to Port Campbell Depart Melbourne and travel over the West Gate Bridge through the vast volcanic plains en route to Geelong. Travel through Torquay for the first of countless photo opportunities of stunning coastal views and lookouts. Stop for a quick visit to the famous Bells Beach. Continue along the spectacular Great Ocean Road, visiting scenic spots including Kennett River where you can see koalas and colorful native birds in the wild. There are plenty of chances to see native Australian wildlife including Eastern Grey Kangaroos as they graze in the wild. Travel through Apollo Bay and into the Great Otway National Park. Take a guided walk through a cool temperate rainforest gully to see the world’s tallest flowering plants, prehistoric trees and ferns, and many other unique features. Arriving at the Twelve Apostles in the afternoon after the crowds have left, explore the boardwalks or brave a helicopter flight along the coastline (at your own expense). Visit Loch Ard Gorge and hear the story of the famous 19th-century Australian shipwreck. DAY 2: Port Campbell to Port Fairy Pop back to the apostles in the morning to check out these unique rock formations in the morning light without the crowds. Spend time visiting the unique formations of Loch Ard Gorge and hear the harrowing story of the wreck of the Lock Ard. Next up travel to Warrnambool for lunch followed by a visit to Tower Hill Wildlife Park. Discover aboriginal history and culture, local wildlife, and plants on an interactive tour of the park. Spend the evening in the quaint fishing village of Port Fairy. DAY 3: Port Fairy to Naracoorte Today you're bound for South Australia. Stop in Portland to enjoy panoramic coastal views from the Cape Nelson Lighthouse, before a scenic drive through dense pine plantations to your lunch venue in the pretty riverside village of Nelson. After lunch, cross the border to arrive in Mount Gambier to see the famous Blue Lake and Umpherston Sinkhole. Arrive in the evening to spend the night at Naracoorte. DAY 4: Naracoorte to Adelaide Your day begins with a guided visit to the world heritage-listed Naracoorte Caves, one of the world’s most important fossil sites. Continue with a drive through the Coonawarra vineyards where Australia’s most illustrious cabernet sauvignon vines thrive on the famed rich red soils. Lunch is served at Bremerton Winery Langhorne Creek, where you can also indulge in some wine-tasting. Your tour continues to Mount Lofty for sweeping views of the city, before ending at your accommodation in Adelaide's CBD.

This is truly one of the world's great scenic coastal drives. You’ll see the impressive results of massive natural erosion. Contrasts abound between rugged coast and verdant rainforest, existing side by side. See the amazing 12 Apostles, the limestone stacks rising dramatically from the Southern Ocean. Walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the scenery from various viewing platforms. As you pass by Loch Ard Gorge you’ll hear the romantic and tragic story of love and lives lost aboard the Loch Ard. Travel through the Otway National Park and see the fern-filled gullies, river inlets, and lush rainforest that are home to a number of native animals On the return drive, you’ll see the spectacular lights of Melbourne as you cross the West Gate Bridge.

This all inclusive tour will not only take you to well known locations such as London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge and the iconic Twelve Apostles, but also a number of lesser known, less crowded but equally beautiful locations - including a secret location or two! A luxury, air-conditioned, leather seated vehicle will transport you to over 8 locations where you will have the opportunity to take photos and enjoy the amazing characteristics of each location.
