Such a great opportunity to escape the crowds of London!

Ginette of Merry Pedaller hosted a lovely ride along the Thames. Because our group was small she was very flexible and able to tailor the tour a bit to suit our needs. She took us to some beautiful small towns and then of course, to the amazing Hampton Court Palace. We highly recommend this tour and this tour guide!

Ginette was an excellent guide and as I was the only person on the tour it was very personalised, even got to quickly duck into a favourite store to get something for my grand-daughter! Weather was lovely and it was such a pleasant way to spend the morning, followed by a tour of Hampton Court Palace.

I had a wonderful day!

Even though there was a slight drizzle accompanying us, it was made up for by the lovely landscape, and my helpful, informative guide. I felt very secure and reassured. She has a good sense of humor and we laughed a lot during the bike ride. We had coffee in a nice pub and bought things for our picnic on a nearby market. So this trip was also about local color. The picnic was near the "long lake". The wind was blowing quite strongly, so we had to move away from the water not to get wet. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. However I do love Britain and am not easily put off by any sort of weather. - In the afternoon the sun was shining and I had a wonderful afternoon at Hampton Court, the gardens and the Maze.
