On the is private tour you will explore five amazing, historical and beautiful villages in the stunning Cotswolds area of England close to Oxford. You will spend around 1 hour walking around in each location which is plenty of time to explore what the villages have to offer you on this every English day out. Lots of wonderful shops, pubs, tea rooms and churches at each village. Then amazing English country side views for you to admire as we drive between the villages. Plenty of stops for photos and videos of course wherever you wish during the day. Lunch will be in Stow on the Wold at one of the villages fantastic pubs or tea rooms at 1230pm. The day will end at 5pm when we leave the Cotswolds and return to London for approximately 7pm.

Starting with hotel pick up in Stratford-upon-Avon, or meeting your guide at the train station in Stratford-upon-Avon or Moreton-in-Marsh, set off into the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Begin with a short, countryside walk to the iconic Broadway Tower (1 mile/1.6km). Soak up the panoramic views and see if you can spot the resident herd of red deer. Walk back to the minibus (1 mile/1.6km) and drive to Broadway village, or descend into the village on foot by walking a short section of the famous Cotswold Way (1.5 miles/2.5km). Enjoy free time in the stunning village of Broadway to explore at your own leisure and grab some lunch. Travel through the scenic countryside before embarking on a beautiful circular walk (2.75 miles/4.5 km) to discover quiet, quaint villages along the Windrush Valley. Here, you'll truly be off the beaten track, discovering hidden churches, surprising history, and gorgeous Cotswold villages without the crowds of tourist hot spots. Unwind after in the historic market town of Burford, where you can admire the historic buildings, shop for gifts or relax in a local pub or cafe. Listen to your guide’s fascinating commentary throughout the day about local life and history.

If you only have one day in the Cotswolds then this is the tour for you. Starting at your location of choice, your tour will focus on the North Cotswolds, as this is where many of the most famous and beautiful villages can be found. Driving through stunning countryside and using quiet country lanes, you will visit or pass through a dozen or so quaint Cotswold villages, with options to visit a Manor House, an English Garden or maybe take a short hike in the countryside. All the major spots are easily covered in one day with plenty of time for getting out of the car and enjoying the scenery and atmosphere. You will be looked after by a knowledgeable local driver-guide, and will travel in a luxury vehicle that can hold up to 8 guests. Your guide will give you a background of the area's history and at each of the stops you are free to either explore the village with your guide or to have some free time to yourself to have a look around.
