Depart Lucerne and journey to the magnificent mountains of the Bernese Oberland by coach. Marvel at the splendid countryside as you drive to the beautiful resort town of Interlaken in the Jungfrau region.  After an orientation stop in Interlaken, continue to the village of Grindelwald, more than 1,000 meters above sea level. Get stunning views of the surroundings, including the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. Use your leisure time to ride the funicular to the terrace of Grindelwald First (optional, not included). Go for a walk or rent a Trotti bike (a scooter-like bike without a seat) and experience the dramatic scenery from a different perspective. Then, take a scenic - unescorted - train ride back to Interlaken, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Browse the shops or go to the Harder Kulm viewpoint by cable car for stunning views of the surrounding area (optional, not included). Breathe in the fresh mountain air before meeting your guide again for the return journey to Lucerne and the end of the tour.

For this trip compared to our Mt Titlis one, our guide Catherine was very clear and good. She not only spoke well in English and Spanish, she introduced many parts of our journey and background knowledge of Switzerland to us. I was a very educational coach journey on our way to Interlaken. Only set back was we had to rush over our lunch just because the other group that was going up Jungfraujoch had to catch a train ride while we continue our coach journey towards Grindelwald

The trip was a nice(little over an hour) bus ride from Lucerne. Grindelwald is small with a few nice restaurants with Fantasic Mountain View’s but not much else. Lots of sports activities and two mountain lifts which others in our group enjoyed. Interlaken was busy with MANY bus tours but not overly crowded. Nice Main Street with many stores. It is a nase for many adventure tours. Plan in advance to avail them. Our guides Angelina and David were very professional and knowledgeable And our bus driver Ruiz was a pro

Beautiful -great guide

Though our trip was on Easter and some shops were closed, the trip itself was awesome! Highly recommend taking the sky tram! Sitting outside at the restaurant (decent prices) and feeling like you are on top of the world, with the snow capped Alps surrounding you. There is nothing like it!
