Would have enjoyed it more if it was all in English vid English/German. My other tour (walking tour in Basel ) had more guides. Also I thought we should have seen the lion monument. I think she ran out of time because she had to repeat everything twice

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but the tour was supposed to be in English and ended up being in both English and German, which meant that half the time people were just standing there waiting while the other language was spoken. The thing about doing a tour in 2 languages is that the other half will get bored and/or they start talking so then the ones whose turn it is to hear the info in their language have a hard time hearing. Again, the guide was great, but many of us said we were disappointed and felt like we would have seen more if the tour had been in one language because we would not have spent half the time waiting.

I booked this walking tour for the first morning I was in Lucerne. It was an excellent introduction to the city. It was interesting to learn about the history as well as what happens in Lucerne now. The guide was excellent and was able to give me information about other places to visit and trips I could do
