Start your day bright and early at 6:00 AM in the lobby of your Downtown located accommodation. Here your driver will be waiting for you holding a placard with your name on it. After a short meet and greet you will be transferred to Xian North Railway Station to catch the G1900 train (7:35 AM - 9:08 AM) or similar train from Xian to Luoyang. Upon your arrival in Luoyang, your local guide and driver will meet you at the railway station and take you to Longmen Grottoes, a treasure house of ancient stone-carving art with over 100,000 stone statues varying from 2-cm to 17.14 meters high. After you have enjoyed some lunch you will head towards the famous Shaolin Temple, a place famous for its Shaolin Kung Fu. Whilst here you will have a chance to witness real Kung Fu performed by Shaolin monks. Shaolin Temple is not only famous for Kung Fu but is also considered one of China's most important Buddhist temples.  After visiting these monumental attractions, your guide will take you to the Railway Station to catch the G2027 (7:20 PM - 8:39 PM) or similar train back to Xian. Upon your arrival back in Xian, you will be picked up at the service centre of the train station and transferred back to your Xian hotel. At approximately 08:30, a local tour guide will pick you up from your downtown Luoyang hotel or the railway station to start your full-day Kung Fu tour. You will first visit the Longmen Grottoes, one of the four great grottoes in China. The other three famous grottoes are the following: Yungang Grottoes in Datong, the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang and the Maiji Mountain Grottoes in Tianshui. There are 2,345 caves with 2,680 statues over 70 stupas and 2,680 inscribed stone tablets densely scattered along the cliffs on both banks of the Yi River. After enjoying a delicious lunch tasting local food in a well-chosen restaurant, you will move on to visit to Shaolin Temple situated in Songshan Mountain. This temple is honored as the cradle of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Martial Arts, worthy of a visit if you are interested Shaolin Kung Fu. Follow your guide to witness real Kung Fu, explore the history of Chinese martial arts and visit the main sites such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Grand Hall, the Sutra Depository, the Hall of Thousands of Buddha and the Pagoda Forest. Afterwards, your guide will drop you off back at either your hotel or the railway station.
