The tour starts at Lustgarten by the Berlin Cathedral, where 70,000 people watched the lighting of the Olympic flame. You’ll drive along the “via triumphalis”, a 15-kilometer boulevard, to the northern loop of the AVUS highway. You’ll then follow the 100-kilometer circular route of road race events to the Olympic village in Elstal. Visit the athletes' accommodation and administrative buildings. Here you can join a guided tour of the buildings upon request. You’ll then follow another cycling route to reach the highlight of the tour – the Reich Sports Field. A very interesting and informative tour. A great way to explore the city in the coolest transport! Lots of smiles and waves from pedestrians. It was nice having a small group and the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the history of Berlin. The VW Bus was great.
