Overall I enjoyed the walk itself. The vistas were beautiful and worth the trip. However the head set provided to hear the guide did not work well and was basically of no use. Sticking close to the guide was the best way to hear what was said. We choose the English tour but the tour was conducted in three languages Spanish, English and German so this resulted in more lengthy explanations. The bus lacked sufficient air conditioning which made for a very uncomfortable ride back.

    Fun day out

I really wanted to visit Caminito Del Rey and this was the only excursion that hadn't sold out. I wasn't too fussed about the food bit of it, but it was nice to taste the cheeses. Unfortunately the one I liked was the fresh one and wouldn't have lasted so I couldn't purchase any, but I did buy the beer version of 'Baileys', so that was nice. The views are great and the history is really interesting.

Added a gastronomic tour, as the other tours were fully booked, and visiting Caminito Del Rey on your own had been fully booked for weeks, although there were very few people on arrival and during the whole tour, very strange - quite a bit of tourist exploitation, isn't it? handy was that the bus picked up 800m from our hotel. 75 euros is too expensive for what it was … gastronomic tour was very limited (in our case we didn't mind)
