Full description

On the first day, be picked up from your hotel and head into the jungle. Go trekking for 3 hours, discover the local fauna and flora, and learn some survival techniques. From here, see the beautiful pink river dolphins and enter the water to get up close and personal with these creatures.

After lunch, go for a paddle and canoe along the river. Then, experience piranha fishing before sunset. In the evening, go out in the dark and search for caymans and other nocturnal jungle creatures with your guide. Spend the night in a local river dweller's home.

Begin the second day early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, go for a ride to visit an indigenous tribe and learn about their history and culture. Stop to buy some souvenirs here if you like and, depending on the season, ride to a local sandy beach for a swim.

Next, travel to January Lake, where you'll have lunch at a floating restaurant. Visit the floating village of Catalão and the Pirarucu fish farm with the biggest freshwater fish with scales on Earth. See the lake with water lilies, and depending on the season, ride through the flooded forests.

Finally, witness the phenomenon of the Rio Negro and Amazon rivers running side by side without mixing their colors. Return to your hotel around 5 PM.

Our guide [Fabio] was a true local, spoke very good English, had a wealth of experience for all aspects of our travel, both on land & water. He shared his love for his homeland & people with honesty, humor & respect! He also allowed us time to enjoy the peace & tranquility where appropriate. The overnight stay required excess time and backtracking travel, was simply bed & breakfast in a bungalow style room with private W/C, very clean but no homestyle/family interaction. Probably obsolete to our needs & the overall tour. To maximize our time, the itinerary for day 1 should have been better planned to avoid backing to & from the city. Lunch was good on both days but super good at Boto Jacare Ubal [dolphin swim]! Best advice... take a whoopee cushion & enjoy the ride!!

the experience was outstanding 5 stars and praise, Bakarau and Raimondo are amazing guides. The activities and the place are really special .. But the boat with which you leave and come back from Manau is too small and as soon as the river swelled we took a big risk.

We enjoyed the excursion very much. The organization is at the highest level. We contacted the guide before the start of the tour and clarified all the important nuances. Due to the restrictions due to the pandemic, we did not visit all the planned places, but thanks to our guide, the trip turned out to be as rich and interesting as possible. The guide was very attentive and patient. I told a lot of interesting things. The food was delicious home-style. In two days we saw all the most important and interesting! We were very, very satisfied!
