Excellent experience at the museum however I would suggest booking direct with museum as we arrived too late for our booking through a 3rd party so lost our money. This was due to our apartment not having the key ready for collection on times so no fault of our own and we had to look for alternative accommodation. If you book direct with the museum your tickets last 12 months

Easy to locate across the road from the Printworks area(& its nearest tram stop) of Central Manchester. As it was not too busy when we arrived 30 mins before our booking time, we were still allowed entrance then. Lovely welcome, with a staff member taking photos of my 3 grandsons with their phone cameras standing next to the League championship trophy. The whole museum was top notch, and the boys( aged 12-13) thoroughly enjoyed the penalty experience( well worth the £2 extra each for 3 shots !).Highly recommended for adults as well ! I was grateful for all the various benches on all the floors to rest while the boys enjoyed themselves ! Being a patriotic Welshman, I was very disappointed that there were not too many mention of our national soccer heroes of the past eg John Charles in the Soccer Hall of Fame. After all- it's supposed to be a UK national museum, & I note there was plenty about N.Ireland's George Best and of English players. Little about Scottish & Welsh players !
