The Statue of Liberty will be visible off to your right. After a short ride, leave the bus and tour Dyker Heights on foot for about an hour. The lights in the Heights range from tasteful displays created by local homeowners to extensive professionally imagined lighting extravaganzas. This was such a great thing to do!! The Christmas light displays in Dyker Heights are absolutely gorgeous. Pick up point in Manhattan is very easily reached,it’s right at the pedestrian area directly across from Macy’s . There are lots of tables and chairs and if you’d like to sit and wait and also lots to see within a few minutes walk. Drop off was at the Lotte Palace Hotel in Midtown, but they also stopped along the way if you needed to get off before that. Our guide was Fred. He was so good! Native New Yorker so he had lots of interesting stories about the history of the different areas that we drive through. Bus was very clean and comfortable. We had gorgeous weather for this and it’s something not to be missed. Hats off to the residents of Dyker Heights. It can not be easy putting up with the enormous amount of people that descend on that beautiful neighborhood every year, but clearly they want everyone to have a wonderful time.

It was a great evening with a funny guide. He had a lot of stories to tell on the way to Dyker Heights. For the bus itself you should know that for the agency a 40! Seater falls under "Luxurious minibus" - I think that is in need of improvement in the description. In fact, the size of the group also meant that it "dragged" a bit - since we are not very scared and there was a clear meeting point with a clear time, we simply broke away from the group every now and then and so a bit seen more. Otherwise the tour was well organized. The windows in the bus were steaming all the time - that was annoying, because the bus driver couldn't get this through the ventilation and led to the fact that all passengers were invited to "clean" - maybe this should also be done by the staff beforehand. an anti fog spray would be recommended - it is certainly not the last tour.

A great tour with lots of (almost too much) information from JA. Very friendly driver and very friendly tour guide! The decoration of the houses is really crazy. Unfortunately it rained a lot with us, but the guide said that he had never seen it with so few visitors. So luck in misfortune!
