After being collected from your Hoi An accommodation, you will travel to Marble Mountain. Upon arrival to the mountain, you will climb up the stone stairs to visit the caves and pagodas whilst admiring the beautiful panoramic views. Next, you will go to the Am Phu Cave, where you will discover eerie underground tunnels, an experience which will be accompanied by the echoing sound of bats' wings. You will then go to visit the Linh Ung Pagoda. Built under the reign of King Minh Mang in the Nguyen Dynasty (the 19th century), legend has it a Buddhist statue drifted downstream to this area before becoming anchored at a sandy embankment. Following this exploration, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, you will discover the city of Hoi An by foot. This historic town, which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to the 18th century, is now a beautiful city that cannot be missed while touring the Southeast Asia region. While walking through the city, you will make a few stops at places such as the Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses (which boast remarkable architecture), and the Assembly Halls (which have a Chinese influence). These spots are considered as typical architectural styles in Hoi An, and reflect clearly the many influences from France, Japan, China, and Vietnam.
