This is a full day trip. You are instructed to meet outside the Cafe Restaurant de France if not being picked up from a hotel, however the Cafe Restaurant de France closed some time ago! The journey was fine, in a comfortable mini bus. On arrival we were met by our guide who escorted us to the falls, down to the bottom and then up the other side, with an organised lunch break. I was one of only two solo travellers so we were rather 'thrown' together despite me not speaking either Arabic or French and she not speaking English. The waterfalls are spectacular- even at the end of summer with the water level probably at its low point. The food was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, but more enjoyable when you are with someone to share the experience with.

Despite a slight mechanical problem, the driver was very accommodating and the short 15-minute trip at reduced speed did not bother us at all, thank you to the driver Hamjid for this pleasant journey. Regarding the visit, our guide Hamid was very nice, these anecdotes and his information on the region were very interesting, his talent as a photographer was also extremely useful. Thanks again to this guide which is really a plus for this visit. The visit itself is sublime, I recommend it and swimming before the lunch break is welcome to cool off before taking pictures with the monkeys.

We were picked up from our location to a meeting point and then from there taken to Ouzoud. From there the hike started and we saw monkeys and waterfalls. At the very end we had lunch for about a 100 dirham per person. The guide and the driver were really great! However, we needed to pay at least 30 more for the guide and 20 more for the boat ride. Overall, very nice and well balanced experience for a day!
