What people are saying about Marrakesh-Safi
We were picked up at our accommodation and taken to the desert quad and camel location with 2 other guests. Quad bike experience was slowed down by the pace of some members of the group therefore we missed the sunset but the experience was still great fun and the horizon views in the desert were beautiful at this time of day. Dinner was the best part of the evening. Great atmosphere and was brought tea and nuts, a starter, tagine and fruit. Well paced throughout the night with musicians and dancers while it got dark. The place offered for us to stay the evening or a 10:30pm or 1am ride back into Marrakech. Drop off at a central location rather than back at the accommodation because the minibus you come home in can’t travel the smaller streets in Marrakech. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a day trip to agafay.
We visited Essaouira on the 2nd of September 2022. We were picked up in the morning at our Riad, the drive was smooth and we stopped on the way to see adorable goats who climb trees in order to eat argan nuts. We spent 4 hours in Essaouira - an hour with a local guide and the rest was spent freely exploring the city. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable and the restaurant he recommended had an excellent view of the ocean and the fortress walls (and the food was tasty as well - we tried the fish Tajine and the Sahara pizza). The city is beautiful, vibrant and definitely worth the trip. If you decide to go on this tour (which we wholeheartedly recommend!), remember that the temperatures are much lower than in Marrakesh and it is very windy (pants are a safer option than dresses).
The waterfalls are totally amazing and due to knee issues I couldn't climb the steps all the way to the bottom but another guide was assigned to me to guide me down the ramp way to the terraces so I still got some incredible views of the falls and had a good lunch after. There was also time to do some souvenir shopping
We spent an amazing day with Radouane exploring the beautiful mountains and villages he grew up in. The views are spectacular and the long downhill segments are the reward for the climb at the start. Highly recommend this as a way to experience Berber culture and the Atlas mountains
My husband and I had an amazing and welcoming experience on our tour, with beautiful views of the atlas mountains and wrapped up with a delicious tagine lunch. This is a gorgeous location in Morocco, not to be missed!
