Full description

Start your day with a convenient pickup from selected hotels in Melbourne. From here, board your comfortable tour vehicle and begin your journey as you depart from Melbourne.

On your tour you will get the opportunity to spot some famous Australian animals, stop at a lighthouse and take in the wild scenery as you breathe in the fresh air. There will also be plenty of stops along the way. Enjoy the breathtaking views over the Southern Ocean and stop for a little rainforest walk to appreciate the cool climate and heavy rain that this region enjoys. Later in the day, head towards the limestone rock formations otherwise known as the 12 Apostles. Nearby you will discover another ancient natural attraction; Loch Ard Gorge where you will hear the story of the shipwreck and its survivors. Dip your feet in the water at the Gorge’s quaint beach and you will never want to leave.

We spent a great day on the great ocean road. You see all the important sights. We even spotted a koala, but there is no walking tour in the rain forest included (that did not bother us, just for information). Our guide was lovely with a sense of humor. We were only a small group of 7 people, which was very nice. We had plenty of stops and enough time at all the sights. Can really recommend this tour! Thanks again!

Fred was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had! He made the day trip so much fun, telling stories and showing us some hidden gems. Every now and then we would do a bit of a walk between the rides which was geat - it’s not just spending “all day” on the bus.
