About the activity provider

Melbourne Star is one of only four Giant Observation Wheels in the world and the only one in the Southern Hemisphere. Located in Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria, the Melbourne Star is easily accessible by free tram (No 35, 70 both from Flinders Street or No 86 from Bourke Street). Melbourne Star has 21 spacious, air-conditioned and fully enclosed cabins that can carry up to 20 people. We are open daily, from 11am, please refer to www.melbournestar.com for full opening hours. A single flight takes 30 minutes to complete one full rotation of the Star. A free in-cabin audio provides a self guiding tour of the sights of Melbourne. Take a daylight flight, hear and see the highlights of Melbourne or take an evening flight and watch as the sun sets over Melbourne and the city's night lights begin to glow. The Melbourne Star has it's own LED light show every night. Over three kilometers of lighting on the Melbourne Star creates a kaleidoscope of colour.
