Get picked up from your hotel in Mendoza and get on the road for a full day of exploration in the Andes. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, begin by taking the dirt roads through Villavicencio where you can catch amazing views of the highest peaks in the Andes. Reach Uspallata Valley and make your first stop at the town of Uspallata where the native Huarpes settled during the pre-Hispanic era. Take your time to soak in the Andean scenery and grab a snack. Then, continue on to Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas. Snap some photos before getting to Puente del Inca, a natural arch situated 8,924 feet above sea level. Admire the swirls of colored rock and the mountain views from the bridge. Journey towards the Chilean border, and stop at a natural viewpoint at Aconcagua, the largest mountain in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres. From November to April, it's possible to enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park and hike to the Horcones Lagoon. Then head to Las Cuevas village for free time and a bite to eat if you so choose. Journey back to Mendoza on the famous Ruta 7 and get dropped off at your hotel.

Get picked up from your hotel in Mendoza and get ready for a full day in the Andes. Your route begins along the Mendoza River, up to the border with Chile, and after 62 miles (100km) you will reach the Valle de Uspallata. Continue on to Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas where you can reach one of the best Mendoza ski resorts, Los Penitentes. Then, continue to Puente del Inca, a natural arch situated 8923 feet (2,720m) above sea level. Admire the swirls of colored rock and the mountain views from the bridge. A short distance from the border, a natural viewpoint allows you to appreciate the magnificent Aconcagua. If the park is open, you can trek over to Los Horcones Lagoon (entrance not included). On the border with Chile, you will find Las Cuevas - 10,500 feet (3,200m) above sea level - a small village built in a European style. Between Las Cuevas and the international Tunnel to Chile, there is a road that takes you to the monument of Cristo Redentor that is 13,780 feet (4,200m) above sea level. This road can be taken with favorable weather conditions, usually during January and February. Journey back to Mendoza on the famous Route 7 and get dropped off at your hotel. This tour to the high Andes you have two routes you can choose from. The regular option bordering the Mendoza River, traveling to national Route 7 taking you to Upsalatta. The second option is subject to favorable route conditions, heads north traveling on a mountain route starting in Villavicencio and arriving at Upsalatta giving you a different view of the Andes.

3. Rancho Gaucho Estate 3 Days in The Andes

Begin with pickup from your hotel in Mendoza at 9:00 AM. Travel for 30 minutes until you reach the ranch. Start your first day with 4 hours of horse riding in the Andes. Take a short training session with your horse, if you are a beginner. Spot local fauna such as condors and eagles throughout the first day, with a stop for a snack during the afternoon.  Return to the camp where the local gauchos will welcome you to your lodgings for the next 2 nights. Get settled in and enjoy a delicious Argentinian BBQ. Enjoy your dinner by the bonfire, with some melodies played by guitar.  On your second day, start with breakfast at 10:00 AM and embark on a trail which takes you 2500-meters above sea level. See if you can spot guanacos, Andean foxes, and ostriches. Return to the ranch for another night of traditional Argentinean food and songs.  On the final day, start with breakfast at 10:00 AM and then, enjoy 4-5 hours of riding before returning to the ranch for a farewell BBQ lunch. Be returned to your hotel in Mendoza at approximately 6:00 PM.

4. From Mendoza: Full-Day Cordon del Plata Andes Trek

After being picked up at 8:30 AM in Mendoza, travel to Cordon del Plata. On the way, take in the amazing views of the Potrerillos Dam and of the main mountains. See Cerro Plata, which reaches 5970 meters in altitude.   After driving for 80 kilometers you will reach Vallecitos at the foot of Cordon del Plata mountain range. Hike in a beautiful ravine called La Angostura with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife such as condores and guanacos.   For a more challenging trek, you can climb to the Morro del Negro summit at 3800 meters. After 6 to 8 hours of trekking, enjoy some coffee or mate (a caffeinated tea), before returning to the city. You will arrive in Mendoza at around 6:30 PM.

The tour from local provider is amazing. I would go directly to provider as they are charging you in pesos, not stealing the tourist blue exchange like GetyourGuide is doing. Sorry saying that but this is the truth. More than 40% more expensive by charging you in $CAD or $USA. They do not accept anymore non Argentina credit card to pay in pesos like we should be paying being in Argentina
