What people are saying about Mexico City
Our tour was through Amigo Tours. We did the English speaking tour with Gersan, and it was great! He was so fun and knowledgeable. He had many facts and interesting points about each place we went. The tour was timed perfectly throughout the day and the bus was very nice and had a washroom on board which is helpful with the long day. Our daughter enjoyed the tour very much at 9 years old. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Mexico City more. We were able to include the Frida Khalo museum which was a highlight for our family as we are very interested in her work and her story. Thank you for a great day!
The guide, Marcus was very knowledgeable! I just didn't realize the tour would not include The Citadel and the Tempe of the Feathered Serpent in Teotihuacan (which I had seen on a previous independent visit). And unfortunately (official regulations) no visitor can climb on the pyramids, unlike we all did a few years ago. Overall, a very good tour, the best part is the guide and having someone pick you up and drop you off at home/hotel. Personally I could rather spend more time to visit the pyramids and less time at the shop or the Guadalaupe Shrine, so keep this in mind when deciding about booking.
My family of 5 and I booked a trip with Travesias Mexico to climb on Iztaccihuatl. The business is an established business with a physical office in the La Condesa neighborhood. Their office has a range of outdoor gear for renting if needed. The guides were very nice and knowldgeable. They had both had a lot of experience in the area as hikers / climbers / guides. They were accommodating to my family's needs and abilities during the trip. I would definitely do a trip with this group again and I highly recommend them. Mike C Seattle, USA
The tour was fantastic. Rafael is a great guide, he answered every singel questions we had. I have learned a lot not only about the places they took us to, but about the Mexico City as well. Highly recommend.
Very good trip. We enjoyed every moment of it. Fernando was very attentive, knowledgeable and funny. David the driver was good and safe. Do not hesitate booking this trip if you are thinking of going
