This group tour will start by visiting Castello Sforzesco, one of the main symbols of Milan and its history. Nowadays. it is the venue of important cultural institutions and a tourist destination, in addition to being one of the largest castles in Europe. Cross Parco Sempione in order to see Arco della Pace, an iconic neoclassical monument, and La Triennale, which houses exhibitions, conferences and events of art, design, architecture, fashion, cinema, communications and society. Then, you will explore the heart of the city by visiting Piazza della Scala, where you will see Palazzo Marino and the Teatro alla Scala, the opera house. After taking a look at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (The Lounge of Milan), you will arrive to Piazza Duomo and its beautiful cathedral. This group tour will then continue on the west side of the historical center in order to see Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, a square famous for its church which is a notable example of Renaissance architecture attributed to Bramante. Continue on to the Navigli district renowned for its ingenious system of navigable canals and the Darsena, the old mercantile port of Milan. This area is also enriched by Piazza XXIV Maggio, dominated by the neoclassical Porta Ticinese. Here, you will be in Ticinese district, one of the most fascinating areas of the city, not only for its cultural value and historical buildings (such as the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio and the Basilica of San Lorenzo), but also for fashion, underground pop culture and nightlife.

Been to lots of cities and had lots of tours but this is highly recommended. Emilio was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, a great guide. You can tell he has been doing this for 10 years but has not lost his passion for the city, it’s heritage and culture. Best first day option in my opinion. Sincere thanks.

We loved the activity and the guide, so I give it the highest score but comment that when we arrived at the meeting point there was no one considering that we arrived 15 minutes before the time. We waited until the agreed time (10 o'clock) and nobody showed up. Because of this we had to call (with the consequent expense in roaming) and apparently the guide had not written it down in his agenda. He showed up at the meeting point after 25 minutes. He apologized for the mistake and to compensate us he invited us for a drink and gave us a small souvenir detail. Despite the error the activity was great and the guide also and if I returned to Milan and had to do this activity again, I would definitely do it again with this guide.

It's worth it!

The 3.5 hours fly by and are really worth it. The speed of the Segways is reduced to 12 km / h, but this does little to detract from driving pleasure. Our guide spoke English very well, once took us across the whole city and explained a lot very well. Definitely recommendable!
