Full description

Experience the glitz and glamour of the Aeolian Islands on this full-day tour. Departing from Milazzo, sail to Panarea, the smallest of the islands. Soak up the glamorous atmosphere of the island, favored by VIPs, as you stroll around the narrow streets of its historic center.

Afterward, pay a visit to the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, where you can learn more about Panarea's ancient origins. You must also visit Cala Junco Bay, a spectacular beach in the shape of an amphitheater that is ideal for underwater swimming.

Finally, relax on the sandy beach of Cala degli Zimmari before continuing your journey. Having left Panarea, sail through the picturesque inlets which form a micro-archipelago between Lipari and the island of Stromboli, your next stop. Enjoy some free time to discover this island, which is home to one of the most active volcanoes in the world, at your own pace.

Visit Saint Vincent’s Square, named after the church dedicated to the same Saint, and the house in which Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman lived during the shooting of the film "Stromboli terra di Dio" (Stromboli land of God). As the sun sets over the island, enjoy panoramic views of the port and volcanoes from the main square.

Watch as the fire of the eruptions and the dark sky clash with each other providing ever-changing colorful creations in the Sciara del Fuoco, which will be visible from the sea during the return journey.

Well, everything was really up to our expectations. Boarding was on time and smooth, even though boat was quite full. Plenty of seating available, even if sharing table. Temperature on the boat was very good, due to the constant breeze. Fresh snacks and beverage available at decent prices. Information given in multiple languages, with detailed and knowledgeable comments from the guides. Amazing scenery around the Eolian Islands and beautiful walks in Panarea and Stromboli (plus the amazing volcanic sand beach in Stromboli, right by the harbor). Plenty of food options, especially in Stromboli. Volcano also presented itself with a couple of small eruptions, however still spectacular.

Our ship was not crowded. Tourist information was provided legibly and loudly on all decks. Stops 2 and 3 hours are sufficient for a walk or lunch. At the Stromboli volcano, the ship is around 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the volcano did not erupt very spectacularly. In a dim environment, taking good photos with a smartphone is almost impossible.

We were lucky with the weather, the sea was smooth as glass and the ship was not fully booked. Very nice tour, nice stays in Panarea and Stromboli with very good explanations from the guide in three languages. The fact that Stromboli showed little activity is not in the hands of the organizer, who gave the volcano enough time. A small lava fountain could then be seen.
