What people are saying about Monistrol de Montserrat

The tour was great, once on train everything went well. There is one but. The coordination of exchanging the voucher for train tickets does not work properly. Tickets for the train are issued at the ticket office only on the day of the tour, they open at eight in the morning, the train leaves at 8:38 a.m., the journey takes an hour and 40 minutes, which means that you will not be able to enter Monserrat premises before 10:30. It would be good to arrange that it is possible to get train tickets earlier or even earlier than on the day of the tour.

It was such an amazing experience. Catching the metro L1 from Glories to Espanya and getting the return ticket Montserrat and cable cart was the best experience as we were able to see the views and take pictures. Being able to have the experience at your own pace with a map and audio provided was good as you can go and see the places you want in Montserrat. Buy admission ticket and you train and cable cart was definitely cheaper

Beautiful immersion in 1000-year-old Christian history The full day is necessary, especially if you plan to hike on site Poorly informed of the ideal direction of visit Managing the audio guide is laborious because only one cartographic document for 2 people and no courteous explanation when handling the audio guide

We really enjoyed this experience. Mateo was a wonderful guide. The luncheon at the farmhouse was quite nice and we loved the visit to Monserrat.
