This is a very unique experience! Just by itself, being in the cloud forest at night is so exciting, and you get to learn a lot about how diverse its flora and fauna are and how different animals come alive at night. Our guide was fantastic and we have seen tarantulas, snakes, a sloth and an animal called kinkajou! Absolutely recommended!

The tour was in a small private reserve. We were a small group and it was actually almost a private tour. The guide picked us up right on time from the hotel and the drive to the reserve was short. During the whole tour it rained, but despite this we managed to enjoy ourselves and see quite a few animals. The guide was knowledgeable and nice and overall we really enjoyed the experience

It was an experience, walking in the jungle in the dark. It rained a bit, but not unexpected. We were told to bring a rain jacket and it was required. You can’t control nature, but it was a little disappointing to see so few animals. We saw two birds, a couple of ordinary stream frogs (not bright green or red), an armadillo and most exciting, a LARGE tarantula. The guide apologized for the lack of wildlife but that’s out of his control. The best part was that we were at the Aguti reserve all alone, not like the other larger night walk reserves where more groups tend to go. Glad we had this experience.
